Fundraising, Marketing & Communications

Cancer Research UK funds pioneering research into all aspects of cancer, from understanding its causes through to developing new ways to prevent the disease. We’re the European leader in the development of new anti-cancer treatments. And with over 100 clinical trials going on, we’re translating advances from bench to bedside as quickly as possible.

To successfully continue with this scale of activity, we’re relying on the business expertise, innovation and ambition of the people in Fundraising, Marketing & Communications. They’re responsible for helping us raise over £1 million a day and helping people to understand cancer, the progress we are making and the personal choices they can make.

Many people know about our charity shops, Race For Life events and information leaflets. But far fewer realise we foster valuable corporate partnerships, have an intensive direct marketing strategy, organise hundreds of local fundraising events and run a variety of health campaigns. It’s essential that we communicate our goals, ambitions and vision to the public and politicians to engage them in our vital work. This is a crucial and ever-active area of the organisation that’s constantly looking for ways to innovate. On our Graduate Scheme, you’ll gain a broad exposure to these departments.

As well as a great career opportunity, you’ll get a competitive starting salary of c.£24,000 and access to a fantastic variety of benefits. Click here for further details on our benefits package.
